The countdown officially begins

So now I just have a few more weeks before I'm chillin in b-more, gettin ready to go. I also bought a new camera for my trip this week. A Bessa R rangefinder. Yes, it's a film camera. You never know when there's not going to be any electricity and you just HAVE to take a photo...whatever would I do. Anyway, this stuff isn't really that interesting, I'm just humoring myself at work.

This is my first post

This is my first post to my first blog. I created this blog for my trip to SE Asia/New Zealand so everyone can see what I'm up to whenever they want. Travel blogs are my favorite to look at so I hope some people enjoy mine.

I just have a few weeks of work and then I'm free! Official departure is September 19. We are spending five days in Japan and then off to Bangkok for an unknown adventure.
